Richard “Rhett
Winchell”
President

Rhett
Winchell is President of the Kennedy
Wilson Auction Group, the auction
division of Kennedy Wilson, Inc. Mr.
Winchell is responsible for the
oversight of all auction transactions
throughout the West Coast.
As President of the Auction Group, Rhett
Winchell specializes in new home
developments, scattered real property
"foreclosure" auctions and Court-related
dispositions. Kennedy Wilson’s
accelerated Auction Marketing process is
for all property types, including
single-family residences, multifamily
dwellings, land and commercial
properties.
Since joining Kennedy Wilson in 1984,
the Auction Group, under Mr. Winchell’s
leadership, has sold in excess of $5
billion of real estate. Mr. Winchell is
currently focusing on the company’s
expansion into major markets throughout
the United States.
Mr. Winchell is a Certified Residential
Specialist (CRS), the highest
designation awarded to real estate
brokers in the residential field. Only
5% of all real estate brokers have
earned this designation. He is also an
active member of other professional
organizations, and holds various
certifications, licenses and
memberships.
He attended Los Angeles Valley College
and the University of California, Los
Angeles, concentrating on real estate
course work, including real estate
appraisal, practice, economics, finance,
law, property management,
administration, ethics and investment
analysis.

Marty Clouser
Senior
Vice President

Marty
Clouser first joined Kennedy Wilson in
July 1986 and is currently the Senior
Vice President of the Auction Group. In
this capacity, he oversees the
procurement, design, implementation and
management of all residential auctions.
Auctions include all property types such
as single family homes, multi-family
dwellings, developer projects and
scattered bank-owned properties. Mr.
Clouser has overseen all phases of the
auction process from business
development to transaction closing. Mr.
Clouser is also an auctioneer.
Prior to joining Kennedy Wilson, Mr.
Clouser managed new home sales in the
Los Angeles area for a real estate
consulting firm and is a qualified real
estate licensing instructor. In addition
to his real estate experience, he worked
in the nuclear industry for Southern
California Edison and as a Division LPO
for the United States Navy.

Linda Redman
Vice President of Auction
Operations

Linda
Redman is vice president of auction
operations at Kennedy Wilson Auction
Group. She is responsible for oversight
and management of Kennedy Wilson’s
residential real estate auction
marketing programs. As soon as a
marketing agreement is signed, the
operations department takes charge of
the auction process, which includes
monitoring the response from
advertisements to the closing of the
last escrow, and everything in between.
While with Kennedy Wilson, Redman has
been responsible for the oversight and
execution of over $300 million of real
estate sold through the auction process.
Redman has been named in Barron’s Who’s
Who in American Real Estate, the
National Reference Institute’s Who’s Who
of Women Executives and the American
Biographical Institute’s 2,000 Notable
American Women.

Light Sayles
Closing Director

Light
Sayles is a Closing Director for the
Kennedy Wilson Auction Group. She
manages the execution and completion of
business and purchase contracts and
provides oversight relating to
transaction coordination and closings,
marketing and administration. Sayles is
responsible for the coordination,
staffing and management of the auction
day closing process.
Prior to
joining Kennedy Wilson, Sayles gained
experience in commercial real estate
brokerage, sales, marketing and
operations management with Sperry Van
Ness Commercial Real Estate Advisors.
Her previous experience also includes
residential mortgage lending,
multifamily property management and
leasing as well as marketing for Hines
Interests LP for the Dallas Galleria, a
mixed-use retail and office development.
Sayles
graduated from Southern Methodist
University in Dallas, TX with a degree
in business administration and
marketing.

Elan
Sherman
Vice
President

Elan
Sherman is a project manager with
Kennedy Wilson Auction Group. She is
responsible for bank-owned, residential
scattered auctions throughout the U.S.
Sherman implements marketing programs,
supervises onsite offices and manages
operations for the bank auctions.
Prior to joining Kennedy Wilson, Sherman
served as a senior marketing executive
for various marketing firms,
implementing marketing and development
strategies. Sherman made her foray into
real estate as a litigator handling
property loss cases in Chicago, IL.
Sherman holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola
University Chicago School of Law and a
Bachelor of Arts in English and
political science from the University of
Vermont. She also earned a marketing
certificate from the University of
California at Berkeley.

Dean Cullum
Senior Auctioneer

Mr.
Cullum is Kennedy Wilson Auction Group’s
Senior Auctioneer since 1995. In this
capacity, he conducts/calls all KW
auctions with a team of 7 floormen. Mr.
Cullum's vast experience in the auction
business brings a great deal of
expertise to the Kennedy Wilson Auction
Group. Since joining Kennedy Wilson he
has called in excess of 350 oral
auctions with sales of approximately 1.5
billion in the U.S., Canada, Europe,
Australia and Asia.
He began work at his father's auction
company as a teenager. His first auction
calling was for the selling of
automobiles in Southern California, but
now he focuses much of his attention to
the calling of real property auctions
from coast to coast. Dean worked for
various governmental agencies throughout
the United States and has auctioned both
commercial and residential real estate
for the RTC, FDIC, Freddie Mac, Ginnie
Mae, Fannie Mae, IRS, HUD and private
contractors representing the
governmental agencies.
Mr. Cullum holds an AA from Mt. San
Antonio College and is a graduate of
Mendenhall School of Auctioneers. He
holds real estate licenses in 4 states.

Michael Haines
Transaction Coordinator

Michael
Haines is a transaction coordinator with
Kennedy Wilson Auction Group. He
specializes in working with escrow,
lenders, the seller and the sales office
to track and coordinate the closing of
auction sales for new home developments
and scattered real property auctions.
Prior to joining Kennedy Wilson, Haines
was a transaction coordinator at
Prosperity Homes, where he assisted in
the closing of over 200 real estate
transactions. His more than 10 years in
real estate includes such diverse
assignments as escrow assistant and
onsite escrow coordinator for Fidelity
Title, and secondary marketing assistant
for Trust One Mortgage.
Haines received his Bachelor’s of
Administration at California State
University Fullerton, where his area of
concentration was finance.

David C.
Rutgers

David
Rutgers is vice president of Kennedy
Wilson Auction Group. In just one year,
he has sold $70 million of residential
real estate in nine public auctions in
California and Arizona.
Since 1987, Rutgers has worked for three
nationwide auction companies. He
developed a format to sell commercial
properties at auction for multiple
institutional owners on a national
scale, with the first nationwide auction
held in 1989. In the early 1990s,
Rutgers sold over 2,000 condominiums on
the East Coast in successful public
auctions. In the mid-1990s, he was in
charge of business development for Ross
Dove/Grubb & Ellis, and sold commercial
properties valued over $500 million for
the FDIC, RTC, banks and life insurance
companies at nationwide auctions.
Rutgers has been a licensed California
real estate broker since 1976. He is a
member of the National Auctioneers
Association (NAA) and is a Certified
Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He
is a graduate of Lafayette College,
where he majored in business, and of the
Missouri School of Auctioneering. He
completed some graduate level studies at
New York University, as well as three
MAI appraisal courses.

Jeff
Powell
Vice President
Business Development

Jeff
Powell brings more than 18 years of real
estate development, project finance and
auction experience to Kennedy Wilson.
Since 1989, Mr. Powell has been
responsible for the acquisition,
financing, entitlement, construction
build-out, and for-sale and auction
marketing of over 50 distressed
residential subdivisions, to include
both single family, as well as
high-density multi-family, developments.
In addition, Mr. Powell has been
responsible for the auction marketing of
thousands of REO properties on both the
West and East coasts.
His management skills, including his
ability to initiate, evaluate, negotiate
and execute residential development
transactions, as well as his thorough
knowledge and proven track record in
residential development have resulted in
his excellent reputation within the real
estate industry.
In addition to his auctioneer’s bond,
Jeff holds licenses from the State of
California as a General Contractor and
Real Estate Agent. Jeff graduated with
Honors from the University of Southern
California. He is also a graduate of the
prestigious Reppert's Auction School
located in Auburn, Indiana, and he holds
a construction management certificate
from Colorado State University.

Stephen
Powell
Business Development

Stephen
Powell joined Kennedy Wilson in 2007,
and is responsible for business
development. He has worked in all
sectors of residential real estate
including on site sales, project
management, sales management, and real
estate development. Stephen was the
'Sales Person of the Year' for Richmond
American Homes in 2002, in the Denver
market, and has extensive experience
with new home builders. He has worked
with two nationwide auction companies
since 1995.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in
History from the University of Southern
California. He has an Associate Brokers
License from the state of Colorado, and
has held Real Estate Sales Person
License from the state of California
since 1997.
